Plantar Hindfoot Module

The Plantar Hindfoot Module reviews the sonographic evaluation of plantar fasciopathy, covering the scanning protocol, anatomy and live scan, and associated pathologies. The pathology lesson will explore the spectrum of sonographic findings for both proximal and mid-substance plantar fasciopathy, plantar fat pad abnormalities, plantar fibromas, lateral cord of the plantar fascia abnormalities, compression of the inferior calcaneal nerve (Baxter's neuropathy), and other miscellaneous causes of plantar hindfoot pain.
